The whole implicated kicker in this situation is this, the medicines prescribed commonly for autism do not “cure” they make it easier to cope with the issues. I will lop off my hands and feet before I see my child on some hard hitting drug. First Doc repscribed a pill that is an anti psychotic wiht some nasty side effects. her demeanor ws that of a doctor saying, “ahh, no biggie give him some baby tylenol” There are reasons to help a child focus, concentrate, sit still and learn, whereas without medicine it can be next to impossible. I will never approach a medicine wiht the attitude of “hell give me a break” Msot of his current scripts are for asthma and alelrgies, but the one script that is for behavior is mild. I still don’t like it though, the difference hasshown in his grades, ability to stop and take the time to think something through. But the same people that make the money off some off label prescriptions that are not emant for children are the same ones reaping the benefits form the immunizations.. ” Since we screwed up in order to make a fat profit, here! have more pills!”
Some families have sued but thaty actually put a cap or something because if every family with a child oin the psectrum were to sue, well hell it’d be worse than the whoel real estate financila nightmare we are seeing play out now.

And I am not saying that I believe or subscribe to any of this…I’m just finding it interesting and worth exploring/entertaining. With the vaccines it certainly seems suspect. That’s where I’m at. AND I don’t trust any agency w/ vested self interest to say what the ‘truth’ is or not. As for ‘cures’, I keep an open mind but skeptical…. Alright….I’m off to watch ‘W’ up here at Tahoe.

I have no idea if she’s a quack or not..though she’s pretty hot, so who cares. But, IF autism can be linked to the increase in mercury ‘laced’ vaccines in childhood AND there is a way to reverse the effects or allow the reintegration of ‘things’ that were ‘lost’ or interrupted in development, then PERHAPS there could be some merit to it. It also appears consistent with the CDC not wanting to touch it because it would open up the door to owning that the vaccines might be to blame for the increase. So..who knows. It is interesting again to say the least.

I haven’t heard that she ‘cured’ him. I don’t know if she ever said that. In fact I think only Scientolotigsts can cure un-curable conditions. By the way…do you have the sense that you’re still being followed? Ever since our tour to their headquarters…… OH SHIT I GOT TO GO. THEY’RE…..AFTER…..M

S’cuse me while I fall off my chair laughing.Nooffense JH:))o enable someone with coping mehcanisms, things that would subsititute for stimulative behanvior( tapping, thumping, spinning) It is possible to get to point of valid communication, but the autism shows up in their genetics. For argument’s sake it would be akin to curing somoene of a trait thta tis hardwired, you can’t. Some of the diet changsei.e. soymilk, soy products, no dairy and no wheat or gluten.. aka the gfcf diet( gluten free casein free) Some people swear by it, their reaosning being it is like a high to some people’s bodies, there have been numreous people who feel that that particular diet relly helped their children. We tried buying soy products, soy “cheese”..(involuntary shudder.. gag) Fyi it is not cheese, at all. We did see a bit of improvment but ah the flipside, due to having a tough time with textures my oldest son is skinny. He needs the fat in the milk, he also has rather wicked allergies & asthma, anything that involved nuts like soy milk was out of the question. my three older children ate the famous soy flour pumpking.. “muffins”.. or door stops, and asked for more.. they were disgusting And as I have found soy milk in your husband’s coffee is right up there with arsenic, i think it’s fine but I wasn’t the one with the stomach cramps lol. Lesson learned, men in my home & soy, not good.BAck to Jenny, she gets a bit kooky, well ok, downright odd claiming ehr child is a “blue child” SInce marriage and parent hood I have adopted a fairly solid conservative stance on life. We are fairly involved wiht our church. THe whole “blue child ” thing made me fairly ill. I checked out her site in the hopes of being fair, reading what she had to say. One of the first things most resepectable docotrs, parents wil tell you after you hear the words ” your child has autism” is to not fall for the miracle cures, the promises, AS parents there are times where you want to help youchild that desperately you will hun down practically anything. For me partof the “cure” is upstairs, in accepting people for who they are Insurance cannot regulate that nor can they withhold it. Gotta go:) hugs,

From what I can tell they changed the vaccines aftermy oldest was vaccianted. On the potentilal side effects I believe autism was listed. WHile I can remember that morning very vivildy, and it came back crystal clear when my son was diagnosed, I don’t know, call it a gut feeling or intuition, neither proovesmuch.there is also a theory that it is genetically present an the vaccines may make the situation worse there are fifty billion theories. What I do know is that doctors are finding that there are tons of mixed up bits in some of these children’s DNA, some of them shouldn’t even exist according to their DNA, yet they

Mccartney,Speaking for this community not many of us are thrilled, I peeked at part of one of her books while waing for something at the pharmacy, it seems that these days a pretty face can earn a pass on some blatant grammar errors.
