When I can get it warm I can do it everytime. However if its cooler I can work it on to where I only have to use the lever for one small part. That at least limits the chances for a puncture. Nice work, its been a long time but I do remember the finish and it does get damn steep. Pretty cool that couple gave you a ride down. Yeah there is a little knack to changing tires, actually how a guy showed me to do it was just by using my hands. I have to use a plastic wrench to get the old one off but if its warm (which makes the tire more flexible) I can just work the new one on with both hands, cuts down a lot on the punctures. I went through the same thing, I puntured three tubes (the goo ones that cost like $11.00 each) and was fit to be tied.
