Heading Off To Tahoe

Have a good weekend y’all. I feel a bit bad that I wont get a chance to watch the U.S. Open, but I will get over it. If you are following, Phil Mickelson is the sentimental favorite since his wife is undergoing cancer treatment and this will be his last tourney for a while, while he stays home and supports her. So best of luck to Lefty… And if Tiger were to take this one, which is unlikely given his shit start, that would be fine too.

Excellent. My dad is up there this weekend so will be kayaking and cycling. JP happens to be up in South Lake as well this weekend so we’re looking to cross paths at some point.

Whats up with Mr. JP? Did you see the conclusion to the Open today? Probably not if you don’t have a TV in the office like I do, well its not in my office but my uncles, luckily hes never in his office. Lucas Glover, what were the odds against him winning. To see Phil and Duval so close was pretty intense, really both of them kind of choked it away down the stretch. Duval packed on some pounds and somehow got his game back, that dude used to be anemic.

I just read about it this morning. I saw the scores yesterday but finally got the ‘color’. Would have loved to see it. Feel bad for Philly-boy. He certainly seems to struggle with the pressure. It’s too bad.
Saw an interview with Duvall last night before bedtime. Dude looks like an entirely different person. Unbelievable. Yeah, I remember when he was all gaunt and storke like. That in itself was very bizarre.

Tahoe was good. I actually fell into the lake kayaking and had to have a boat drag my kayak to shore. Pretty heroic on my part

What are we all about? Who knows? Who cares? It’s too soon to say. We are a slow brewing stew and have just set the proper heat under the stove. We have yet to add bits of carrot and celery and whatever Brazilian bullshit my counterpart would add to a stew. It will take time. Care, whimsy, procrastination, will all be added. Wrong ingredients will surely be added as well, but it is all ok. It’s a process. We will figure it all out in time and hopefully serve up something nourishing and if all goes right, delicious. In the meantime, let’s agree not to worry about, About.
