it depends man. Wind and fatigue are the big factors.

After a race day, 30 miles will take me 1:40 with a little bit of wind. If I am feeling good and I want to train hard it should be done in between 70-75 minutes.

There are too many factors that determine how fast you can go on the bike. Power, weight, equipment, how fresh the legs are, alone or riding in a pack.

On fiesta island, you know when you came out to record me, the average speed for a normal day would be 27mph but on a fast day it can get close to 29. It all depends on who shows up and how much wind there is and also how motivated people are to suffer.

Hey, Ca-Ca..or is that what should be my reply to your last post...but what do you average on MPH for your bike rides, not races for a flat -say 30 mile ride? I'm curious. I want to feel bad about my times.

You write about this shit every time you have a race. It's like reading Lance's book when he's talking about riding. I love it.
