Right On Right On

Matthew McConaughey Jr. is on the way. And I can’t tell you how excited I am to see how his offspring turns out. I hope to God its a boy. Can you even begin to imagine this kid on a playground? “Love them school girl outfits”

But what cracks me up is how Matt Sr. described his girlfriend’s pregnancy. Not “we’re having a baby” or that “My beautiful girlfriend is expecting”, or something less formal like, “can you notice the glow of my lovely lady? Looks like it’s time to be a daddy”.

But in typical McConaughey fashion this is how he released it (so to speak):

“My girlfriend Camila and I made a baby together,” Ow, my sides… Too funny.

That is all it took for me, but for good measure he stated:

“We are stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation and this gift from God, and so excited for the adventure that will come in raising this child, being mother and a father, and shepherding him or her through this life.”

Stop! …Please stop… I can’t breathe.

I tell you. He just may be the most committed actor of our generation. I truly believe that he is still waiting for the director of Dazed And Confuzed to yell ‘Cut’. It’s the only thing that makes sense.
