I’m going to try my best to not break down this argument. It’s much more enjoyable to let it stand on its own hilarity.

However, I do love the point that if (we) were spanked as children and are not/have not displayed sexual deviancy/sadomasochistic behaviors then we are one of the “lucky ones”.

Was this study performed by the town elders in Footloose?

I was spanked occasionally as a child for certain transgressions that I’m sure were deserved and I have never….shown…….no?…….sex…ual……umm…..

I’ll comment on my post. Great post BN!
It got me thinking a bit. Spanking leading to sexual deviancy…
My gut response is…pretending that’s in any way true…is…GOOD. We are supposed to be sexual deviants. We are not designed to use our reproductive organs in a rationale, sincere, a tender way. We are supposed to reproduce w/ authority, spontaneity, and ‘wildness’. That’s how we’re wired. Civilization largely ‘castrates’ our innate impulses. So if a little ass slapping wakes us up to that, then good. Spank away.

What are we all about? Who knows? Who cares? It’s too soon to say. We are a slow brewing stew and have just set the proper heat under the stove. We have yet to add bits of carrot and celery and whatever Brazilian bullshit my counterpart would add to a stew. It will take time. Care, whimsy, procrastination, will all be added. Wrong ingredients will surely be added as well, but it is all ok. It’s a process. We will figure it all out in time and hopefully serve up something nourishing and if all goes right, delicious.
