What is the deal with Toyota Trucks and the missing letters on the cab? Are they actually falling off? Is this some adhesion problem, or are people “cleverly” trying to spell something?

For example, today I saw ‘OYO’.

What the fuck is OYO??? Is the driver trying to make a statement, and if so then what does that mean? My Spanish is a little shabby, but maybe it means ‘Ass’ or ‘fuck white people’ or something. I don’t know.

But again maybe the letters are just falling off. Maybe there are an abundance of o’s, a’s, t’s, and y’s scattered across the highways. Stuck to old hubcaps and whatnot.

Anyways, I’m confused by it. Either someone needs to let me in on the meaning of these cryptic messages or Toyota needs to start using better glue.
